“The Collection” is a compilation album by the iconic Italian duo Al Bano & Romina Power, originally released in 1998. The album features some of their most beloved classics, including “Felicità,” “Sharazan,” and “Ci sarà,” songs that defined the duo’s international success during the 1980s. This 2025 reissue is presented on double black vinyl and expands the original tracklist with four additional songs. Three of these bonus tracks have never previously been released on vinyl and are taken from the live album “Magic Reunion – Live –,” originally issued in Italy in 2004. The release is part of The Collection series and is housed in a gatefold sleeve. Al Bano (born Albano Carrisi) and Romina Power began performing together in 1975 and quickly rose to worldwide popularity in the early to mid-1980s. Their signature hits such as “Sharazan,” “Felicità,” and “Ci sarà” brought them international acclaim. In 1984, they won the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival with “Ci sarà.” Over the course of their career, the duo released more than twenty successful albums and repeatedly achieved top positions at Sanremo. They officially separated in 1999, but their musical legacy remains highly influential.
