Alex Lifeson – Victor

“Victor” is a remastered reissue of the solo studio album by Alex Lifeson, originally released in 1996. The album was recorded at Lifeson’s home studio, Lerxst Sound, between October 1994 and July 1995. Upon its original release, “Victor” reached No. 99 on the Billboard 200 and received a Juno Award nomination in 1997 in the category of Best New Group. This 2024 reissue is presented on CD and includes four bonus tracks, offering additional insight into Lifeson’s solo work outside of his legendary band career. The album showcases a heavier and more experimental side of the guitarist, blending hard rock and progressive influences with intricate guitar work and atmospheric production.
